Day-by-Day Itinerary (10 Days Journey)
Day 1 – Departure from Mumbai / Pune / Your City
- Catch your night train to Haridwar from Bandra Terminus (BDTS) at 00:20 AM. Your train tickets will be arranged accordingly, and once you reach Haridwar, our local team will be there to receive you.
If you're traveling from Pune:
We'll arrange smooth connecting travel (bus or train) from Pune to Mumbai so you reach Bandra Terminus on time for the 00:20 departure.
If you're traveling from any other city in India:
Train tickets will be booked directly from your home city to Haridwar based on your preferred dates, ensuring you sync perfectly with the main group.
- Your trip officially begins the moment you board the train. Enjoy the ride!
Day 2 – Train Journey Experience
- Our day one will be spent on the train, but the fun starts right there! You'll get to know new friends joining the trip, play games like cards and Uno, and enjoy the entire day on the train. Let the excitement for your journey build as you travel together!
Day 3 – Arrival in Haridwar & Spiritual Exploration
- After your hotel check-in and a quick rest, we start with a peaceful Darshan at the 8-storey Bharat Mata Temple, followed by a visit to the mystical Vaishno Devi Gufa. Next, we head to Mansa Devi Temple on Bilwa Parvat to enjoy the spiritual vibes and a beautiful bird's-eye view of the city.
- For lunch, treat your taste buds to the world-famous pooris at the iconic Panditji Pooriwala. The highlight of your trip awaits in the evening at Har Ki Pauri, where you will witness the divine Ganga Aarti -a truly soul-touching experience with glowing lamps and Vedic hymns. We wrap up the day with a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel, making your Haridwar Yatra completely hassle-free and memorable.
Day 4 – Haridwar to Sonprayag via Dhari Devi & Devprayag
- After breakfast, we begin our scenic drive from Haridwar toward Sonprayag, stopping first for a powerful Darshan at the Dhari Devi Temple, the revered guardian deity of the Char Dham Yatra. Next, we visit the magnificent Devprayag Sangam, the holy confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers, where you can witness the exact spot where the Holy Ganga officially begins.
- It is a breathtaking sight and a must-visit for every traveler. After capturing these spiritual highlights, we continue our mountain drive, arriving in Sonprayag by evening. Check into your hotel, relax after the journey, and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay as you prepare for the divine trek ahead.
Day 5 – The Divine Trek to Kedarnath
- After an early breakfast, we head from Sonprayag to Gourikund to begin your much-awaited Yatra to Kedarnath Dham. You can choose to trek or take a pony for the scenic 10-12 hour journey, passing through famous stop points like Jungle Chatti, Bheem Bali, and Badi Lincholi. We aim to reach the temple by 5:30 PM, giving you enough time to settle in before witnessing the powerful and soul-stirring Evening Aarti at 6:30 PM. After seeking blessings at the shrine, you can enjoy a warm dinner and head to your hotel for a well-deserved rest in the holy atmosphere of Kedarnath.
Day 6 – A Divine Morning at the Feet of Kedarnath
- Your day begins early with the option to attend the powerful Rudra Abhishek at 3:00 AM (optional), followed by a peaceful general Darshan of the Kedarnath Shivling. After seeking blessings, we visit the Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi, the sacred Retas Kund, and the Bhairav Temple-the residence of the guardian deity of the Himalayas.
- Since we start early to avoid the crowds, we skip breakfast and begin our descent back to Sonprayag via the scenic mountain trail. By evening, you will reach Sonprayag to enjoy a warm, comforting dinner and a relaxing overnight stay, carrying with you the divine energy of the Dham.
Day 7 – Visit to Triyuginarayan Temple
-
Following breakfast, the journey continues to the holy Triyuginarayan Temple, believed to be the divine wedding site of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati in the presence of Lord Vishnu. One of the temple's most unique features is the Akhand Dhuni, an eternal flame said to have been burning since the celestial marriage thousands of years ago.
The peaceful environment and spiritual significance make this visit truly special. After spending time at the temple, the group returns to the hotel for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 8 – Rishikesh Arrival & Evening Aarti
- After breakfast, travel begins toward Rishikesh through beautiful Himalayan roads. Upon arrival, guests check into the hotel and relax before heading out in the evening to witness the renowned Ganga Aarti along the riverbanks. Unlike the energetic atmosphere of Haridwar, the Rishikesh Aarti offers a calmer and more meditative experience filled with soothing chants and spiritual serenity. The evening ends with dinner followed by an overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Day 9 Rishikesh Sightseeing & Departure
- After breakfast and hotel checkout, the day is dedicated to exploring the spiritual charm of Rishikesh. Visits include iconic landmarks such as Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula along with peaceful ashrams and riverside temples. Travelers can enjoy café hopping, shopping in local markets, or simply relaxing by the Ganga while soaking in the tranquil surroundings of the Yoga Capital of the World. Later in the evening, the group proceeds toward Saharanpur Railway Station to board the overnight train back home.
Day 10 Return Journey
-
The final day is spent comfortably traveling back home by train while revisiting memories of the incredible pilgrimage. This relaxed journey provides time to share experiences, photographs, and moments from the Kedarnath Yatra with fellow travelers.
Arrival in Mumbai by late evening marks the official conclusion of the trip, leaving you with spiritual fulfillment and unforgettable Himalayan memories.
